| Lal Singh lays foundation stone of Siara- Hatt Maashka road | | | KATHUA, Mar 3- Member Parliament Udhampur-Kathua-Doda Constituency, Ch. Lal Singh laid foundation stone of Siara- Hatt Maashka road in Tehsil Basohli of Kathua toady. The 18km Road long road will be completed with an estimated cost of 3 crore by NHPC. While addressing a mass gathering, Ch Lal Singh said UPA government under the able guidance of Sonia Gandhi and dynamic leadership of Dr Manmohan Singh has been providing liberal funding to the State so that various development projects could be executed and completed in a stipulated time frame. He said that road connectivity; electricity, education, health and drinking water are among the priority sectors of the government and said that mega developmental projects have been started in this respect. He reiterated the commitment of the government for providing all basic facilities in every nook and corner of the State. Choudhary Lal Singh said that construction of the road will not only provide road connectivity to 15 panchayats with the neighboring states, but will also boost the economic development of the area, adding that road connectivity will open new avenues in the field of education, trade and tourism.
