| UDC demands early solution of Safai Karamcharis' problems | | | Early Times Report
Udhampur, Mar 4: An extra ordinary meeting of Udhampur Development Council an NGO was held here under the chairmanship of Parvesh Parihar in which NGO has shown its full solidarity and support to the agitation of Safai Karamchari of Municipal Council Udhampur and urged the state Govt. to pay attention towards the genuine demands of Safai Karamchris .
Parihar while expressing his views extended his full support and sympathy with struggling safai Karamcharis. He said that poor these Safai Karamcharis are very much deprived from their rights and facing disastrous hardships in their routine life and injustice with this section of the society.
The cleanliness of any city or town is entirely dependent on their shoulders and they do their duty honestly and keep the area neat and clean.
He said such great service is not done by common man this done by these innocent and poor section of the society so their genuine demands for the regularization should be addressed seriously.
Rakesh Padha said their strike and agitation for their demand is genuine and democratic right and to make it successful the Ngo is squarely in support of Safai Karamchari.
He said that this time government cannot befool Safai Karamcharis just by assurances and need is to fulfill their genuine demands at any cost otherwise they won't resume their work and the town would be full of garbage. |
