| Refresher training course on "Soft Skills" held at ZPHQ-Srinagar | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, Mar 4 : In the continuance process of capacity building and orientation, a refresher course of trainers in Soft Skills was held at Zonal Police Headquarters Srinagar. About fifteen-15 young officers from Sub-Inspector-SI to Deputy Superintendent of Police-DySp ranks participated.
Besides the familiarization with the syllabus / tools of training in Soft Skills, the participants had also a detailed interaction with Professor Robert Wilkinson, of the TUFTS University-USA- an expert in communicating skills.
Earlier, in his message to the participants, the Inspector General of Police, Kashmir Zone, S.M.Sahai, stressed on the participants, that we have to see ourselves as Public servants. We are the people who have been provided jobs by the government for public service delivery. The IGP further asked the participants, that this training session is an opportunity for them to improve their professionalism and it is up to them to make a difference in society. |
