Mufti Mohd Sayeed's period golden era in the State: Rajesh Bhat | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Mar 4: Peoples Democratic Party's (PDP's) senior leader and social activist, Rajesh Bhat during his visit to Jagti Township today held a meeting with the inmates, particularly the youth and assured them that the future belongs to them. He said that it is time for the people; especially the youth to introspect and see the difference between the political parties and without bias strengthen the party that has stood for the social and political development of the state irrespective of region and religion. Bhat said that the people are keenly witnessing the difference between the rulers, who rule the state. He said that people on merits hail the period of three years rule by PDP led collation govt., which he said has led the state to come out of the red because of militancy, corruption and misrule. He said during the period of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, the government machinery both within the Civil Secretariat and at Divisional levels was functioning transparently and on fast track but now people are again fed up because of high rate of corruption and misrule in the state. He said that in addition to permanent infrastructural development, the period of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed was a golden period that not only saw the state getting free from militancy, but experienced far reaching policy decision in the field of education, health and employment. He said the period was a landmark by way of good relations between India and Pakistan.Rajesh Bhat impressed upon the authorities to improve the fundamental needs at Jagti township including construction of temple and more shopping complex. He particularly stressed for early construction of the play ground that could facilitate the co-curricular activities of the youth, who could engage themselves towards the games, which could develop their physique and mental horizon. |
