| 2 militant hideouts busted in Kishtwar | | | Early Times Report
KISHTWAR, Mar 4: Army and police today busted two militant hideouts in different areas here and recovered arms and ammunition from there.
Police sources said a joint party of 11 RR and police busted a militant hideout in Sigdi Balana area of Chatroo.
One 12 bore rifle, one desi rifle, 2 UBGL grenades, one Chinese grenade, 15 AK rounds, one pouch and one IED weighing 3 to 3.5 kg and fitted with detonators and a wire were recovered from there.
Sources said the hideout belonged to the slain HUJI commander Mohammad Amin who was killed in an encounter.
The other hideout was busted in Renie area of Marwah. A large quantity of ration, blankets, beddings and other items were recovered from there.
The hideout belonged to HM and was in use of the militants who were wanted in the Delhi high court blast, the sources added. |
