Govt's regularization policy is a gross violation of Human Rights: SDP Chief | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Mar 5: Socialistic Democratic Party (SDP) Chief Dr Darakhshan Andrabi today joined the agitating agriculture technocrats and sat on the token hunger strike with them to express solidarity. Dr Andrabi today sat with Agriculture technocrats who are staging hunger protest under the Joint banner of Rehbar-i-Zirrat (JKATA) Jammu Division / JKATUF Kashmir Division for the 7th consecutive day to press for the amendment in the regularization policy. Speaking on the occasion Dr Darakhshan said that nine year's tenure has not been fixed by any state to provide Govt. jobs except J&K which is total injustice to all REZ especially overage candidates. "This is the clear-cut exploitation of our talent and technical human resource a gross human rights violation. The meaning of government's recruitment policy fails the comprehension of any sane person when analyzed on the measuring rods set by the government itself," said Darakhshan. Dr Andrabi announced that her party will send a memorandum to the state Chief Minister and the Governor regarding the party's views and suggestions for sorting out the very genuine issue of REZ. Earlier Dr Khursheed President JKATUF said that State Govt. should look at the extreme level of deprivation of REZ with clear and transparent vision and initiate amendment of the policy for 2642 REZ employees of the state, otherwise we will intensify our agitation in the coming days. Dr Yasir Tak Vice President JKATA also spoke on the occasion. |
