J-K govt fixes Mutton , chicken ,milk rate | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Srinagar, Mar 5 : Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, Asgar Hassan Samoon,has fixed the rates of essential supplies especially Mutton, Chicken,and Milk. After threadbare discussions and deliberations with officials the retail rate of dressed mutton, without offal was fixed at Rs. 280 per kg. The retail rate of broiler chicken was fixed at Rs. 90 per kg. Retail price of loose milk was fixed at Rs 25 per litre and pouch milk (toned) at Rs 30 per litre. These rates have been ordered to come into force with immediate effect and will be applicable till further orders. Div Com directed DC Srinagar and CAPD to ensure strict compliance of rates and in case of any violation stringent action be taken. Meanwhile, On the basis of information received from SASE a high danger avalanche warning has been issued for Gurez and medium danger avalanche warning for Keran, Chowkibal, Tangdar, Machhil. People living in these snow bound areas have been advised to take precautionary measures and desist from going in avalanche prone areas. The warning is valid for the next 24 hours… |
