Rs 182 crore sanctioned under credit plan in Bla

Srinagar, Jan 21
Under current years credit plan the Lead Banks in Baramulla district have sanctioned Rs 182.12 crore in priority sectors of which Rs. 120.51 crore have been disbursed till ending December, 2006.
This was given out during a meeting of Bankers and District Officers held at Baramulla yesterday presided over by Chief Planning Officer to review the achievements registered under various schemes being implemented for employment generation for the unemployed youth.
It was told that under PMRY, 110 cases were sanctioned by Banks involving an amount of Rs 70 lakhs and under JKSES and SGSY, 536 cases were sanctioned involving Rs. 3.99 crore. For all the three schemes, J&K Bank has sanctioned a loan of Rs. 3.18 crore for 323 cases.
