| Commissioner Income Tax stresses upon timely tax returns | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, Mar 6: Income Tax Department organized a meeting with taxpayers and stakeholders regarding widening of tax base, at SKICC Srinagar.The meeting was attended by Ravi Sarangal, Commissioner of Income Tax ,J&K, R.K.Kakkar, Joint Commissioner of Income Tax, Rishpal Bedi , Dy. Commis ssioner of Income Tax, Rishpal Bedi and ITO's and about 150 people representing Income Tax payers and member of Income Tax bar counsel, chambers of Commerce, Federation of Industries, Vayapar Mandal and Traders Associations.
While interacting with participants, Commissioner of Income Tax, J&K, Ravi Sarangal exhorted tax payers to file their tax returns timely so that tax base is widened. Participants of meeting raised problems faced by the tax payer regarding payment of taxes.
Commissioner of Income Tax, Ravi Sarangal assured the participants that if they face any grievance regarding tax issues, they may be sent at email at [email protected] so that their grievances can be settled expeditiously.
The meeting ended with a vote of thanks to the participants. |
