| KAWA – RCA to hunt for fast bowler event in Feb | | | Jammu Jan 21
KAWA-RCA will organize selection trial for Cricket lovers under the banner “Hunt for Fast Bowler” in the month of February to March at GGM Science under the patronage of Kapil Dev. Former Captain, Indian Cricket Team.
Addressing the media, KS Katoch, Managing Director Kawa Institute said that the mega event would run for two months to identify fastest bowlers from state having potential to become national and internal players and to bring Jammu and Kashmir on the Cricket map of the world.
The competition would be held under flood lights. Each contestant would have to bowl 18 balls, he informed.
The selection committee would include national players like Rakesh Jolly, Bhupinder etc. Each contestant would have to pay entry fee.
The competition will be held under three categories: Under 18, Under 19 and open and be for both male and female.
