Temple priest appeals Rajouri people to maintain peace

JAMMU, Mar 9: Expressing concern over the communal tension in Rajouri town, Pt Rumil Sharma, priest of ancient Bhairav temple at Chowk Chabutra here, has appealed to the people of the border town to maintain peace and communal brotherhood. Tension had gripped Rajouri following stoning of the peaceful Bhairav procession in the town by some miscreants for two consecutive days, ie on Tuesday and Wednesday. Rumil criticised the incident and called upon the government to take legal action against the culprits. He also issued an appeal to the people of both the communities in Rajouri town not to get carried away by rumours and help in the maintenance of peace and communal brotherhood.
