Two day "Radio Utsav",held | | | JAMMU, Mar 9: A two day "Radio Utsav", organised by Radio Kashmir Jammu began at Government College for Women, Parade Ground here today. The function was inaugurated by renowned scholar Dr Ved Kumari Ghai in presence of hundreds of distinguished artists, academicians, poets and research scholars. The first session of the first day of the 'Radio Utsav" was marked by Paper reading on different topics while as in the 2nd Session a 'Kavi Ghoshti' was organized in which eminent Dogri Poets rendered their poetic compositions. Eminent Hindi & Kashmiri writer Dr. Rattan Lal Shant read his well researched paper on 'Samkaleen Lekhan Aur Visthapan Ka Sach'. In this paper he drew attention of the participants towards the pain and pranks of migration which had been highlighted by the poets in their prose and poetry during the past over two decades. Dr Shashi Shekhar Toshkhani threw light on 'Aaj Ki Kavita Aur Visthapan Bodh' , Maharaj Krishan Santoshi read a paper on 'Katha Sahitya : Visthapan Ka Sandarbh', while as Deepak Kumar read his paper titled' Samkaleen Natak: Aam Aadmi Ke kitna Paas'. The session was presided by Dr Ved Kumari Ghai while as Prof Rita Jitendra moderated it. Those poets who participated in the Kavi Ghoshti included Ramesh Mehta, M S Kshama Koul, Nirmal Vinod, Chanchal Dogra. , Hemant Kukreti, Nirmala Garg, Manoj Sharma, Sheikh Mohd. Kalyan and Dr Aruna Sharma. |
