Gram Sabha holds meet of annual action plan under MGNREGA

Jammu, Mar 9: Gram Sabha today held a meeting of annual action plan 2012-13 under MGNREGA of block Bhalwal Panchayat Muthi in an open place due to non availability of Panchayat Ghar.
The meeting led by Sarpanch Raj Roop Singh and BLW Vimla Kumari discussed annual action plan under MGNREGA with the panches and people of panchayat Muthi.
Raj Roop Singh,Sarpanch Muthi giving the details of work estimated 11.24 lac for construction of lane & drain from main road to Bua Ditta house of 100 mts length construction of road filling from Rakesh Kumar house to Shamshaan Ghat,700 fts, construction of lane from Puran Chand house to Raghav Palace of length 300 fts. construction of lane from Madan house near Primary school of length 100 mts. construction of filling road from Romesh Bali house to Behind Rama krishana Mission of length 500 mts. construction of road filling from Monar Lal house to juice factory of length 600 fts. construction of link road from the Abdul house to Gandiv Singh at Laley Da Bagh Muthi, 150 mts.
Raj Roop Singh said that on the one hand, Govt. provides work to BPL card holder under MGNREGA, providing ration on low rates but on the other hand their electricity have been cut off and bill amounting to Rs 18000 to 20000 were sent which is openly injustice with the BPL families.
Sarpanch strongly demanded the cancelled their power bill and smooth their power within short period otherwise its result will be not good. There is no Panchyat Ghar as a result meeting would be hold in an open place and Modern name is given to this panchayat.
Others who attended the meeting included Pawan Sharma (naib sarpanch),Shyam lal (panch),Vijay Kumar (panch),Shakuntla (panch),Toshi Devi (panch),Jagdev singh (panch), Rajinder Bhagat,Vijay Kumar,Shamnkar Singh,Chagar Singh,Baij Nath,Bachan singh, Manna Ram,Tara mani,Prabu Sharma,Joginder Kumar,Kans Raj,Janak Raj and Bharat Singh
