| Safai karamcharies called off their ongoing stir | | | Udhampur, Mar 9: Safai karamcharis Union Udhampur today called off their agitation after they were assured of their demands to be mitigated.
Earlier Safai karamcharis' Union activists assembled under the supervision of Kaka Hussain amidst sloganeering in favour of unity of employees welcomed the decision of government. Thereafter the activists distributed sweets to each other to mark the victory of their struggle.
Speaking on the occasion union leaders including Kaka Hussain thanked the people of Udhampur and various political -non political organizations that have extended their moral support to the protesting Safai karamcharis. Pappu, David Stephen and many others also spoke on the occasion. |
