| Gandhi Memorial College of edu felicitates women Nayab Sarpanchs, Panchs | | | JAMMU, Mar 9: A function to felicitate women nayab Sarpanches, panches was held at Gandhi Memorial College of Education (a unit of Hindu Education Society, Kashmir), Raipur Bantalab, Jammu. Anil Dhar President (HESK), who was the chief guest felicitated the women Nayab Sarpanches and panches of the area. While speaking on the occasion, Dhar said that "when the women are empowered, their families are healthier, more children go to school, agricultural productivity improves and incomes also increase".
On the Valedictory of week long activities conducted for International Women's Day celebration, General Secretary AK Raina (HESK) in his address said that, "women are the symbol of strength". |
