Taawish college of Education organizes International Women's Day

JAMMU, Mar 10: To mark the International Women's Day, Taawish college of Education organised a function in the college premises today.
Besides a symposium, competitions in poster-making and slogan-writing were held. Both boy and girl students of the college participated in the contests. The student speakers in their speeches said that female child should be given proper education as well as nutrition. There should be no difference between a female and male child. Chairman of the college Pooja Malhotra while speaking said that as compared to men, women are more loyal to their family, society and nation. "We should pay respect to women and help in the enforcement of their rights, she said.
Principal Raj Kumar appreciated the efforts in organising the programme.
