| DPL Kishtwar inaugurated | | | Early Times Report
KISHTWAR , Mar 10 : Director General of Police Kuldeep Khoda, along with S.P Vaid, ADGP Hqrs PHQ and Dilbagh Singh IGP Jammu Zone Jammu during his visit to Kishtwar inaugurated new District Police Line at Zamran Top Kishtwar.
Soon after landing at helipad inside the DPL, Khoda and others was received by District SP Kishtwar B S Tuti, District SP Doda Mohammad Arif Rishu and Additional SP Kishtwar Kulbir Singh and the Engineers from PCD & PHC.
Khoda during his visited Inaugurated the newly constructed Four Storey Barrack and Mess-cum-dining Hall meant for Alternate Accommodation.
Thereafter, he laid the foundation stone of a new Four storey barrack meant for District Police which has been sanctioned under Police Modernization Program. During the process, he was briefed by the District SP Kishtwar regarding the new requirements pertaining to land and buildings.
Khoda also addressed a gathering of 300 Officers/Officials from District Kishtwar and Doda. District SP Kishtwar gave a detailed picture of Police functioning and highlighted the achievements of District Police Kishtwar.
Later on DGP felicitated the Police officers/officials who have done commendably well on anti-militancy front. He announced cash reward of Rs.12.80 lac for the Operations and granted four out of turn promotions. On the occasion he also announced the absorption of 07 SPOs as Constables/Followers. Subsequently, a Darbar was also held where officers/officials put forth their problems and DGP was gracious enough to pass immediate directions for addressing the grievances.
Later on he laid the foundation stone for Police Tele-Communication Building at DPO Complex where he interacted with senior Army/Civil officers over tea and took a detailed review law and order situation in the District. Brig. Hitesh Kohli, Commander 09 Sector RR, Mohammad Hussain Malik DC Kishtwar, CO 17th RR,CO 26 RR,CO CISF,DFO Kishtwar, DFO Marwah and Other Senior Officers were also present on the occasion. |
