| Heritage School's KG wing celebrates annual day | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 10: The Kindergarten (KG) Wing of Heritage School, Sainik Colony, celebrated its Annual Day with great fanfare in Police Auditorium, Gulshan Ground, here today.
The Chief Guest on the occasion was Navin Aggarwal, Addl Director General of Police (Prisons) J&K while Sheetal Nanda, DC Reasi, was the guest of honour.
The function commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the Chief Guest Navin Aggarwal.
The annual Report was presented by Ranjana Jamwal, Co-ordinator KG Wing. She enlightened the gathering about the aims and vision of kindergarten in Heritage School.
The tiny tots, who excelled in academic and co-curricular activities conducted during the academic session 2011-12, were felicitated by the Chief Guest and the Guest of Honour.
The highlight of the day was the one act play (The Jungle Book) in which all the students from Pre- Nursery to UKG participated and presented an enthralling display of dance and drama. The young performers made the character of the Jungle book come alive on the stage. Mowgli and his jungle friends regaled the audience with their antics and charm.
Speaking on the occasion, Navin Aggarwal appreciated the spirit of all the students and the hard work put in by the faculty members in nurturing young talent. |
