| Power fails lower house for a minute | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 10: The opposition bench today mocked at the treasury bench when power suddenly went off in the lower house of the Legislative assembly.
The house plunged into darkness around 12.04 hrs when Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) MLA, Muhammad Rafi Mir was speaking during discussion on budget proposals.
The power supply was restored in a minute as Rafi completed his speech in emergency lights. The Chief Minister, who holds he power portfolio was not present in the house. |
