| Cheater arrested from Delhi | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 10: A cheater was arrested from Delhi for duping a person of Rs 18 lacs by assuring him to send him Canada.
The arrest was made following a written complaint was lodged at police station Channi Himmat by one Ramesh Kumar that Dharminder Singh Lamba had committed fraud of Rs. 18 lacs with him by falsely promising him of sending to Canada. Accordingly a case u/s 420/406/465/468/471 RPC was registered and further investigation was started.
Following an input, SSP Jammu Prabhat Singh constituted a special team of P/S Channi Himmat which was sent to New Delhi for making arrest of the said accused. Police team raided in several places in New Delhi and finally the accused was trapped near Metro Station, Keshavpura, New Delhi. He was immediately shifted to Jammu after his arrest. |
