| Rehabilitate Yasir's family: Tarigami | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, mar 11: CPI (M) State Secretary M Y Tarigami today called for proper rehabilitation of family of Yasir Ahmad, who was run over by an army vehicle in Anantnag town yesterday allegedly due to rash driving, even as he sought inquiry to probe the incident. Expressing sympathy with the bereaved family, he called for tackling the aftermath reprisals of such incidents with utmost care and restraint, saying that use of disproportionate force adds fuel to the fire that proves detrimental towards consolidation of peace and tranquility in the state. He prayed for peace to the departed soul and patience to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss. Tarigami opined that humane and compassionate approach should be made benchmark to deal with such incidents keeping in view the over all security scenario and past experiences as well. |
