| CM's clear stand on delimitation demanded | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 11: Sunil Dimple president Jammu west assembly movement in a press statement addressing the working committee meeting of the Movement at the head office, has demanded from the chief minister Omar Abdullah to clear his stand on the implementation of the delimitation on the floor of the on going legislative assembly. He demanded the chief minister for the constitution of the "delimitation commission" and to call for the all party round table conference to resolve the delimitation issue and constitute the delimitation commission. He demanded the chief minister Omar Abdullah for "immediate bifurcation" of Jammu West assembly constituency into two assembly segments" and grant the "district status" to the west constituency as west constituency is the largest constituency of the state with 2.50 lakh voters, 10 lacs population with 26 Municipal Corporation wards which is a great discrimination with people of the Jammu west constituency. Sunil Dimple also alleged that the Bloria commission is big fraud. He said the Bloria commission report should be placed on the floor of the assembly , thoroughly discussed before the implementation in the assembly and alleged that the report is full of short comings and the irregularities by unequal distribution of the blocks, tehsils and the districts.He warned the Govt and the Chief minister Omar Abdullah that we will "start indefinite Jan Andolan, if the "district status" is not granted" by the Biloria Commission to the Jammu west constituency keeping in view the population, voters and area of the constituency. Sunil Dimple also demanded from Omar Abdullah for the reshuffle of his cabinet ministry as presently most of his cabinet ministers are evolved and have been leveled by the serious corruption charges. He alleged the hard earned money of the people of the state is being looted by the higher influential ministers and the bureaucrats of the state Govt converting the state in to a poor state. |
