| Bhartiya Kala Sangam felicitate state awardee | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 11: In order to honour state awardees who were given J&K State award for excellence in the line Bhartiya Kala Sangam organized a function at K.L Saigal Hall today in which Deepali wattal renowned singer of the state and Sanjeet Khajuria Asst Director News D.D.K Jammu were honoured respectively.
Minister for health and medical education R.S Chib who was the chief Guest on the occasion applauded the efforts of Bharitya Kala Sangam for organizing such functions and honouring the talented persons of the state.
He said that such endeavor should continue besides efforts to promote art cultural and literature in the state.
Deputy Chairman of Legislative Council and former Director General of Art Cultural & Languages M.Y Taing who was guest of honour said the talented persons must be continued so that it serves as an inspiration for others to follow.
While welcoming the audience T.R Sharmal Vice President of Bharitya Kala Sangam gave details of working of the club saying that the B.K.S is in operation since 1980 and has organized various programmes not only in the state but outside the state with the stress to encourage budding talent belonging to city urban and farflung areas.
