| HM commander's co-brother detained | | | Early Times Report
Kishtwar, Mar 11: In its efforts to find the whereabouts of HM commander Shakir Hussain alias Chota Hafiz and his accomplices involved in Delhi high court blast, police, after detaining his wife and parents-in-law, today detained his co-brother Ghulam Rasool Sheikh of Sishlan Marwah and shifted him to Kishtwar.
According to sources, police got a clue that Rasool had met Hafiz few weeks ago and it was he with whom the HM commander's wife Tasleema Begum had returned home.
A senior police officer in Kishtwar was likely to question him to know about the whereabouts of Hafiz and his associates. Sources said Tasleema and her parents had been released by police and asked to report to the latter every day.
Meanwhile, during the ongoing search operation at Marwah which entered 73rd day today, cops recovered Hafiz's horse which he used to travel from one place to another.
Sources said the animal could help police to locate the hideouts of Hafiz and his associates.
It is worthwhile to mention here that Doda police in 2009, with the help of the horse of slain HM commander Shahdeen Khanday, had busted his several hideouts. |
