| LA passes grants for Finance, LA Deptts | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 12 : The J&K Legislative Assembly today passed demand of grants for 2012-13 amounting to Rs. 876075.59 lakh and supplementary grants amounting to Rs. 254698.16 lakh for the year 2011-12 for the Finance and Ladakh Affairs (LA) departments with voice vote.
Motion for the demand of grants was moved by the Minister for finance and Ladakh Affairs Abdul Rahim Rather.
The Members who had moved cut motions including Harsh Dev Singh, M Y Tarigami, Prof. Chaman Lal Gupta, A R Veeri, Nizam-ud-Din, Peerz ada Mansoor Hussain, Ashw ani Kumar Sharma, Abdul Haq Khan, Syed Basharat Bukhari, Mr. Rafi Ahmad Mir, Yashpal Kundal, Jugal Kishore, Ch. Zulfkar Ali and Syed Bashir.
The Members except, PDP Legislators who were on walkout, withdrew their cut motions after the assurance from the Finance Minister. |
