| Drive against misuse of LPG Cylinder conducted | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 12 : Continuing the drive to strictly ensure implementation of essential commodities Act 1955 and use of domestic cylinders in commercial establishments, a team of Assistant Director Enforcement/ Officers of Enforcement Wing as per the directions of Director CA & PD Department, conducted market checking here today.
The team challaned 12 defaulters especially Mutton Sellers, Chicken Sellers, Vegetable sellers at Sidhra, B. C. Road, Railway Station, Narwal, Gandhi Nagar, Gujjar Nagar and Talab Khatika and adjoining areas and realized fine of Rs. 7900/- under the violation of Price Display Order/LPG Control Order/EC Act 1955.
All the Assistant Directors of Jammu province and Enforcement Officers of Legal Metrology Department are directed to conduct market checking against the defaulters. |
