Early Times Report
Jammu Mar 12 : Dr. Anil Kumar Srivastava, presently director National Dairy Research Institute (NDRI) Karnal is tipped to be the new Vice Chancellor of the Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and technology Jammu (SHUASTJ), highly placed sources have confirmed to Early Times.
Even though the search committee constituted to recommend a panel of names for the coveted post has yet to finalize the panel before its submission to the chancellor, the name of Dr. Srivastava is already being mentioned as the most probable Vice Chancellor of SKUASTJ in power corridors of the State. Same sources said that it is now just the paper work that needs to be completed since so that the decks are cleared for issuance of a formal order in this regard.
It must be mentioned that the term of the present Vice Chancellor ends on April 12, 2012.
Even though hectic lobbying has already started to fit the top slot because of the dice being heavily loaded in favour of Dr. Srivastava others do not stand a chance, sources added.
