| NIFD sponsors Samilan 2012 | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 12 : National Institute of Fashion Design (NIFD) Jammu has sponsored exclusive designing garments prepared by the NIFD students for the national technical cum cultural fest "Samilan 2012" at MIET College Kot Bhalwal Jammu.
It is just to give a sneak peak into the Designer's creations providing an exclusive look at the collection.
There is always some kind of freshness in the designs of the budding designers of NIFD.
The name of the fashion show was "Fashion Fiesta", this fashion show was divided into two rounds i.e Sougat (Round I) the collection speak about impressive creations of traditional Kurtas blended with dhoti and beautifully knotted tie & dye headgears in various forms for men, and women drape in different sarees bandhni (Tie & Dye) that glitters & sparkles with lavish gold, silver sequine embellishments luxurious fabric ranges from crepe, silk & georgette play a fashionable symphony. Melange (Fusion) Round 2 - The range comprises of feminine, elegant wearable luxury clothing that is effortlessly chic.
One piece dresses showcase in Lakme Fashion Week Winter Festive 2012 adds elegance to the range.
