Retired employees of J&K PCC Ltd holds meet

JAMMU , Mar 12 : A meeting of the retired employees of J&K PCC Ltd was held under the chairmanship of S. Foza Singh in which thread bare discussion was held towards the difficulties being faced by the retired employees of J&K PCC and special intention was diverted towards the problems being faced by the families of the deceased employees and necessity was felt to form a platform for re-dressal of the genuine issues pertaining with the retired employees and families of deceased employees.
The main demands include compassionate appointment at earliest , release of 300 days leave encashment to each and every retired and deceased employee , sanction of gratuity at the enhanced limit of 10.0 lac , Pensionary benefits to every employees and other issued related with retired and families of deceased employees accordingly it was unanimously decided and passed a resolution to form a union of retired employees in the name and style of All J&K PCC Retired Employees Union Jammu.
On the occasion Foza Singh was nominated as Chief Patron , Joginder Pal as President , G L Ganju as Advisor , P P Mengi as Advisor , Rattan Lal Raina as General Secretary , Bhushan Lal Khar as Chief Organizer , Sat Pal Gandotra as Chief Spokesman , R L Bhat as Chief Publicity Secretary , Rattan Lal Pandita as Organizer , Damodar Singh as Publicity Secretary , V K Datta as Cashier.
While speaking on the occasion the newly elected president assured the house that he will fight tooth and nail for the cause of the families of deceased employees and also assured that no stone will be left un-turned for redressal of the most genuine demands of the retired employees.
Further he nominated a three member committee of G L Ganju , P P Mengi and Rattan Lal Raina for framing the bye Laws of the union and authorized them to get the union registered with the concerned authorities.
In addition to the above the meeting was also addressed by Rattan Lal, Bishmber Singh, Gain Singh, Bharat Bushan, Damodar Singh, Anil Nayer, Kirpal Singh, Doulat Ram, B.L. Sopori, Kundan Lal, Karnail Singh and others.
