| BRAVO" to add SPORTING COLOUR AT REPUBLIC DAY PAGEANTRY | | |

Bravo - The Mascot of the 4th CISM Military World Games - 2007, is expected to create sensation - first of its kind - during the ensuing Republic Day Parade at the Rajpath. This is slated to be the biggest ever sporting event ever to take place in India. The Republic Day Tableau put up by the Ministry of Defence is presumed to be an added attraction of this year's colourful pageantry featuring Bravo along with ammunitions of various defence organisations and three wings of the Indian Armed Forces.
The Tableau will depict along side Bravo, various sports disciplines like Judo, Wrestling, Football and other games.
It may be recalled that the Military World Games are conducted under the aegis of International Military Sports Council (CISM), Brussels (Belgium). India is hosting the mega sport event in October this year in Hyderabad and Mumbai. About 127 countries with over 6000 sports personalities are expected to participate in these games. Earlier MWG were organised in Rome (1995), Zagreb (1999) and Catania (2003), said a PIB (Defence Wing) release.
