| PSA protests with Agri. Technocrats, 'secretariat gherao' bid foiled | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU Mar 13: Expressing solidarity with protesting agriculture technocrats, Progressive Students Association (PSA), today supported their call of 'civil secretariat gherao call by joining their procession near the Press Club Jammu. Earlier Agriculture technocrats gathered near the Press Club Jammu from where they started to move towards secretariat. Their procession was stopped by the police deployed at Dogra Chowk. Speaking on the occasion president of PSA (Jammu university unit) Manik said that, "we support the movement of the agriculture technocrats and their demands. He said that this specific problem is not only with the agriculture technocrats but also of others like home Guards and the students. Mentioning the "New recruitment policy" he said that the same has done by the state govt. by giving the half of the basic salary for initial 3 yr and 75% for the next 2 yr. He urged all the student community to come and support the movement of Agricultural technocrat. |
