| YAIKS demands white paper over PM's employment package | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU Mar 13: Unemployed KP youth under the banner of Youth All India Kashmiri Samaj (YAIKS) staged protest demonstration at Press Club, Jammu against delaying of implement on of remaining components of PM's Employment Package and demanded issue white paper in this regard. Led by Pt R K Bhat President YAIKS and member Apex Committee, the protesters amid sloganeering criticized Govt's delaying tactics in implementation of Cabinet Decision and remaining components of PM's employment package for displaced KP youths announced long back in April, 2008.
The YAIKS demanded a 'white paper' as to why this cabinet decision for deserved posts has not been implemented for the last seven months now and what the measures have been taken by the State Govt regarding implementation of remaining components of 6000 jobs under PMs Package. Bhat and other speakers appealed to Chief Minister & Revenue Ministers for their personal intervention for implementation of their own approved Cabinet Decision which is pending for the last seven months. Speakers also demand that in next State Sponsorship 3000 jobs under PM's Package five years age relaxation should be given so that some over aged youth of the Community can be compensate to some extend. |
