Kranti Dal demands funds for lower Muthi panchayat | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Mar 13: Kranti Dal leaders visited Panchyat Lower Muthi, ward no. 3 of block Bhalwal and found that the people of Gujjar community are living their life like the pre-Independence situation. Kranti Dal deligation was led by its gen. secy. Pritam Sharma and Jagdish Sudan, youth working president along with Sarpanch and Panch of the Panchayat. Pritam Sharma strongly blamed the state govt. for ignoring the about 700 people of Gujjar community who are living in 120 houses but none of the Govt. gave the attention towards their welfare. The Gujjar Community is living just 3km away from Bohri and 8km from Jammu city. Further Sharma added that there is stream which cut off these people from the rest of the Jammu city especially in rainy season their life become more miserable due to high pressure of water. Their children remain absent from school and anganwari during rainy season. They have to cross two streams to reach Bohri. It is very miserable that they are adjoining to the city but their condition is like a far flung area. MLA of the panchayat never visited there to know their problems. Kranti Dal demanded the construction of stream on both sides immediately and make pullies and also asked the Govt. and concerning MLA to visit the area and release funds for their welfare. |
