| DIG Railways (Security) inspects GRP Lines | | | | JAMMU, Mar 13: A K Atri-IPS, DIG Railway Security J&K visited GRP Lines Jammu and inspected Kot, MT , Clothing & Equipment stores, Recreation hall and barrack of jawans. Official spokesperson stated that DIG instructed DYSP GRP Lines / L.O to issue uniform and other articles to the jawans on time and improve their living conditions so that they can stay comfortably after performing their hectic duties. After inspection, a durbar of officers/officials was also held at GRP Lines. DIG stressed upon all the participants to ensure security of passengers, trains, stations and tracks. During the durbar, the participants projected accommodation problem and other personal/joint problems. DIG informed them that the matter regarding accommodation is in progress with higher formations. However in response to the other projections/demands, DIG assured them that he will pursue all the genuine issues at RPHQ level and with other concerned quarters. |
