| Training course for panches, Sarpanches organized | | | Early Times Report
Kishtwar, Mar 13: Four days training course for Sarpanches and Panches was organized by the Rural Development Department for Kishtwar.
While addressing the elected representatives of Block Kishtwar, BDO Kishtwar Qazi Masood Ahmed brief the elected members about the aims and objectives of organizing such training courses is to aware them about the various govt. schemes besides making them aware about their duties and powers while serving the people.
He said that the Govt. has so for brought 14 Govt. departments under the ambit of Panchayat Raj. He said that Govt. is committed for strengthen the Panchayati Raj institutions in Jammu & Kashmir.
He said that during four days training course, the department of RDD will provide training to these elected representative through TOT's besides will provide them stationary material along with literatures concerned to various developmental programmers for Panchayats. He said that similar training courses are also underway at Agral, Palmar & Thakrie of Kishtwar Block in which more than 200 elected representative participated.
He hoped that after getting training from TOT's, the elected members will serve the poor people of their respective Panchayats and Wards without prejudice to anyone. |
