| LA appropriate forum to discuss NKCA scam-Baig | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Mar 13: Senior PDP leader Muzaffer Hussain Baig Tuesday said that Jammu and Kashmir Assembly was the appropriate forum to discuss multi-crore Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association scam.
"We raised the issue in the House but Speaker did not allow with the plea that JKCA was under the direct control of BCCI so it can't be discussed in the House" Baig said while addressing a press conference at Mehbooba Mufti's residence.
Baig said, "Mehbooba Ji moved adjournment motion in the House seeking discussion on multi-crore JKCA scam involving Dr. Farooq Abdullah but we were not allowed to speak on the ground that we have no jurisdiction to discuss the issue in the House but National Conference today itself raised the issue" Baig added.
PDP leader said that best thing would have been to allow discussion on the issue in the House to unveil the truth and let the people know. |
