| PHE workers hold demonstration | | | Jammu | Jan 22
A massive demonstration by the workers of PHE Welfare association Gandhi Nagar Zone was held in the office premises of executive engineer city division here today.
The demonstration led by president of association Chuni Lal urged upon the authorities to release pending salary arrears of the employees, beside arrival increments due to the employees be paid regularly without any duty. He further said that final seniority list of the employees he maintained and circulated well in tame and added that after very two years cashier should he transferred.
Provincial General secretary of the association Subash Chander while addressing the demonstrators said that number of times members approached the Ex. Engineer concerned for redressal of the demands, but till date no action taken. He appealed the authorities that the need full he done soon, otherwise workers will be forced to adopt struggle path and responsibility will lie on the authorities.
Among other who spoke on the occasion were Deep Raj Chauhan , Raghubir Singh, Omkar Sharma, Nazir Ahmad, Bansi Lal, Kamal Kumar etc.
