Interactive session on 'Environment Protection' organized | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Mar 14 : An interactive session on 'Environment Protection' was organized in M.V. International School. C.M. Seth, Director, N.G.C Jammu shared his consummate views with students in order to bring awareness among the present generation so that they can fortify the environment. He co-related environment with sciences and also emphasized to have knowledge of their surrounding environment. He appreciated the efforts taken by the management in bringing awareness about environment. Seth inaugurated Eco Club of the school with the named as Saras Eco Club. The area where the school is situated was once the natural habitat of Saras, a bird of eternity which is now at the verge of extinction. The school has taken up this initiative to protect this species from getting extinct. MV International School has also taken up two projects of becoming 'Zero Waste School' and 'Rain Water Harvesting'. Speaking on the occasion Gourav Abrol, Director MVIS emphasized on the need to save and protect our environment. All the students and faculty members of the school participated actively in this session. Avinash Mahajan vice principal gave thanks to Seth for giving such a motivational lecture and enlightening the students about the importance of Eco-Club in today's world. |
