Dr Jitendra reviews Reasi-Katra municipal poll strategy | | | EARLY TIMES report Jammu, Mar 15: BJP National Executive Member & State Chief Spokesperson Dr. Jitendra Singh, who is also the party Prabhari for District Reasi, convened meeting of prominent local leaders at Katra to review the party's poll strategy for ensuing elections to the municipal committees of Katra and Reasi besides the newly announced town committee for Daroor Ban Ganga. Reasi District President Kabla Singh was also present at these meetings. Dr. Jitendra Singh personally heard the views of all participants at the meeting and later also visited some senior members and sympathizers of BJP in the holy town of Katra. At the meeting, each of the 13 wards under Katra town committee and each of the 13 wards under Reasi town committee were discussed individually. The voter composition, the past poll result and future strategy in view of the forthcoming municipal committees elections were the main issues which came for discussions. After the conclusion of the meeting Dr. Jitendra Singh said that although the National Conference coalition government had announced a new town area committee for Daroor Ban Ganga in Reasi District, there is still no clarification as to what is the demarcation of the new seven proposed wards or whether at all the election will be held to this town committee also. Dr. Jitendra Singh told the BJP workers in the Reasi district that they should carefully scrutinize the voter lists and immediately point out the flaws to the administration so that the ruling coalition government does not manipulate the election process in their favour. Among the prominent BJP leaders of the district who attended the meetings included Shashi Gupta, Master Sunder, Shiv Jamwal, Sanjay Dubey, Goldy, Ajay Kumar Baru, Raka Hira, Rakesh Dubey, Babu Ram Dubey, Chain Singh, Subash Kumar, Manoj Sadotra and others. |
