Jammu, Mar 15: A meeting of Baba Surgal Basuki Naag Mandhir Development CommitteeBahu Fort Jammu was held under the chairmanship of its patron . The following members were unanimously appointed for the development of Dev Sathan. Jaswant Singh was elected as President, Hardesh Khokhar, as Senior Vice President , Kaka, Mohan Lal, Sanjeev Sharma, Bintoo were elected as vice presidents, Dev Krishan as General Secretary, Parshtom Lal and Sanju Shavotra as Secretariat, Pt. Kalli Dass as Org. Secretary, Sohan La Shavotra as Financial Secretary, Sanjeet as Deputy Financial Secretary, Romesh Lal Dalohtra as Pub. Secretary, Harnam Dev Shavotra as Deputy Pub. Secretary, Sanjeev , Billa, Tinku, Ajay Kumar, Vicky Kumar, Gillu, Mannu, Kunna, Rajinder Nagotra as members.
In the meeting it has been decided to construct a concrete temple of Naag Devta who used to give his vision (Durshan) to the devotees in this respect this committee has been fra-med to look the matter and facilities for the devotees, the construction of the temple will be take place shortly. In the concluding minutes of the meeting Rajeev Charak described the wonders of Baba Surgal and congratulated the peoples of the area for this holly appearance of Naag Devata. He also stressed the newly appointed members of the committee to serve hole heartily to the Devata and duties as the Devata has created them for this saint service.
