Scam in JKCA, Siddiqui demands resignation of Farooq Abdullah | | | Early Times Report Kishtwar Mar 15: Senior Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader from Kishtwar Shakir Hussain Siddiqui have demanded the resignation of National Conference pattern and Union Minister Farooq Abdullah for his alleged role in multi crore scam surfaced in Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association. While supporting the statement of PDP state president Mehbooba Mufti in the state Assembly and a PDP MLC Murtaza Khan statement in Legislative Council where both the leaders have demanded the resignation of Farooq Abdullah, Siddiqui said that the huge transaction of money in personal account have not taken place without the knowledge of Farooq Abdullah. He also demanded probe into the backdoor appointments made in youth service and sports department. He said that most of the Ministers in Omar Abdullah led government are involved in corruption and scams. He said that the coalition has failed on fronts as far delivery of justice is concerned. He said that the government is putting its every effort in hiding the misdeeds and scams of the ministers and higher bureaucrats. He said that the government has lost the confidence of the people of the state in every department and said that Omar Abdullah has no moral right to stay in power. |
