Govt failed to handle Rajouri crisis | Balwant reiterates reorganization of J&K, demandsseparate CM | | Samba, Mar 15: Reiterating the re-organization of Jammu and Kashmir to end the alleged discrimination with Jammuregion, Balwant Singh Mankotia state president, MLA demanded separate chiefminister for Jammu. Accusing state govt for not handling thesituation in Rajouri crisis, Mankotia condemn use of police force againstpeaceful demonstration today. Addressing a mass public rally at Vijaypur organized by RajeshPadgotra, Balwant Singh Mankotia who was chief guest demanded separate chiefminister Jammuregion. Justifying his words he said the discrimination with Jammu region would only be checked, Mankotiasaid that this is possible only after having re organization of the J&Kstate. He said that main purpose to organisating such rallies at every nook andcorner of the state is that people should get aware of Panthers Party agenda of2011-12 to create Separate Assembly, Civil Secretariat, Service SelectionRecruitment Board, Public Service Commission and Fiscal Budget etc. JKNPP leaders claimed that Panthers agenda 2011-12 aboutreorganization of J&K was endorsed by around 48 different organizations inthe month of January 2011 in a meeting held at Ashok Hotel Jammu. Further accusing the state govt for not handling thesituation in Rajouri and condemn the govt for brutal lathi charge on ladies andchildren staging peaceful demonstration, JKNPP leader demanded judicial probein whole episode and all those officers should be taken into task. Meanwhile Yash Paul Kundal MLA who was guest of honour on the occasion saidthat its only panthers party which is fighting for the cause of Jammu people and iscommitted to provide justice at door steps. He further appealed to the people to join the function being organizedon March 23 at Samba district head quater. Among others who were present on the occasion included ShivCharan Singh Retd ZEO Khajur SinghSarpanch, Gunwant Singh, Rtd BDO Madan Lal, Ragubir Singh Balworia, SarpanchShanker Singh, Balbinder Singh Jamwal and Sanjay Sharma. |
