Jammu, Mar 16: The first meeting of post forum of Post Forum of Gandhinagar Head Post office was held today meeting was chaired by John Samuel Chief Postmaster General J&K Circle. 15 members have been nominated for inclusion in Post Forum.
Dr. G.L. Dhar, Chitra Mishra , Principal , Kendriya Vidyalaya, Sister Rozama Principal, Presentation Convent School, Shivandra Bhalla, DGM SBI . O.P. Sharma, President, J&K Bank, Bahu Plaza, S.S. Wazir , ADG (Retd.), Y.R. Sharma, President Chamber of Commerce, Ravi Kant , Vice President Axis Ban, Romesh Koul , DIG ( Retd.),S h. S.R. Kapoor , IAS (Retd.) O.P Gupta, Chief Engineer, J.R. Sharma, Brig. (Retd.), H.R. Fousna , Asstt. Commissioner, Nalini Kohli Principal , Govt. College for Women , Gandhinagar and Shri Ravi Sangral , Income Tax Commissioner . In the meeting , efficacy of service delivery of Post offices in Jammu region especially in Gandhinagar Head Post office was discussed. Based on the suggestions by members of the Forum and Chief PMG has ordered for implementation of many new initiatives so that the post offices is customer friendly and effective.
John Samuel informed that Post Forum Jammu is the first of its kind in the state. He said that Post Forum will be introduced in Srinagar in April. |
