| Take action against Dr Abdullah in cricket scam, PDP youth wing | | | Srinagar, Mar 16 2012 IST Demanding a thorough probe into alleged multi-crore scam in Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA), the activists of youth wing of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) took to the streets here today. Led by party youth general secretary Nazir Ahmed Yatoo and District president Jahangir Wani, Imtiyaz Rasool, Parvez Ahmed, Jeelani Kumar and other zonal presidents, the PDP supporters staged a demonstration in the city. They were demanding action against JKCA president Dr Farooq Abdullah. When action can be taken against Suresh Kalmadi why similar probe is not ordered against Dr Abdullah, they were shouting.
However, after marching through different streets, they dispersed peacefully. The youth leaders alleged that the documents received from the different branche of Jammu and Kashmir Bank and JKCA official clearly indicate involvement of Dr Abdullah. |
