| JKCA Scam: ABVP protests, demands CBI inquiry against Farooq | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 16: Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) today held a protest against multi crore Jammu and Kashmir cricket Association Scam (JKCA) and demanded CBI inquiry of Farooq Abdullah who is president of JKCA. They demanded FIR against Farooq Abdullah in this regard.
A large number of students gathered near Fountain Square and shouting slogans against the government and the corrupt politician.
While speaking on the occasion Arun Prabhat Singh (city secretary) lambasting on the states government said that as Farooq Abdullah was leading the JKCA when this scam took place. "Farooq is directly responsible for it so he cannot escape from the responsibility of the scam, he added.
Aman Bali president JU said if Surresh Kaunadi can be booked and sent to jail for swindling sports funds why can't Farooq Abdullah be booked on similar grounds?"
