| Psychological workshops concludes at JU | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU , Mar 17: Three day workshop was organised by PG Department of Psychology, University of Jammu conducted by Prof. S.S. Nathawat, ex-Headof the Department of Psychology, Rajasthan University and currently Director & Dean, Amity Institute of Behavioral & Allied Sciences, Amity University, Rajasthan, Jaipur. HOD , Arti Bakshi was present on the occasion.
The participants were Psychology P.G. students, Research Scholars and faculty members.
These workshops started on March 15 and concluded on March 17 have focused the ways to promote strengths and positive attributes in students.
Prof. Nathawat pointed out that Positive Psychological Capital- popularly known as PsyCap is recently developed concept in Positive Psychology which refers to special ability in persons to be successful in every sphere of life.
Prof. Nathawat concluded that students of Psychology need not only seek for jobs but they should create jobs based on their skills to become authentic counselors, entrepreneurs, stress managers, health, clinical & sports psychologists, etc.
Training in above life skills will help the students to succeed in their lives.
Prominent among those who were present on the occasion includes, Dr C S Chandra, Sarita Sood, Irfan Goni.
