| Neha honoured for promotion of Dogri | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU , Mar 17: Neha Lahotra, the renowned stage and TV artist of the state was chosen as the leading female Dogri artist for an honour by Yuva Shakti Mandal.
Neha represented as the only female in the caucus of the luminaries who were selected by Mandal for a honour for her distinguished services in promotion of the Dogri .
Speaking on the occasion, BS Slathia, president Bar Association Jammu lauded the role of young blood of Jammu who is trying hard to save rich culture of Duggar and Dogri language.
Senior Advocate J&K High Court, SS Lehar and general secretary, Press Club, Suhail Kazmi, the guests of honour appealed the young generation to preserve rich culture and language of J&K which we have gained through thousands of years.
Besides Neha others who were honoured included Balwant Kataria, Sudershan Salgotra, Chaman Panthi, Jeevan Sharma and Ravi Sharma.
It is pertinent to, mention here that Neha in her endeavors as a artist in her very short stint in media as well as theatre has risen to a distinguished position and has earned great laurels in both fields.
She is two times best actress of the state and is pursuing both the medias with great zeal and enthusiasm.
Others who graced the occasion include Chander Mohan Sharma, RC Angotra, Dr Raman Sharma, Sanjeev Kalsi, Narinder Kumar and many others. |
