KPs condemn SDSS statement over Kashmir temples | | | Early Times Report JAMMU , Mar 18 : All Parties Migrants Coordination Committee (APMCC) has strongly condemned the recent utterances of the Saadhoo Dharamsathaan Surakshini Samiti (SDSS) through press and electronic media during the past two days and warned them to desist from meddling in the affairs of Kashmiri Hindus instead of helping them. Taking strong exception to the press conference and a interview of SDSS working president Mahant Subash Shah Suthra Shahi Gaddi, in a TV programme, the APMCC Chairman Vinod Pandit said that passage of Temples and Shrines Bill was very important to save the temples from land grabbers. He further said that if the SDSS has suddenly woken up to oppose the passage of Kashmir temples and Shrines Bill. He reminded SDSS that it was APMCC that initiated the repair, reconstruction and reopening of temples and shrines even during militancy. Vinod also reminded him that recently APMCC held a 10-long fast unto death where all the Jammu organisations supported the cause of Temples and Shrines Board for J&K giving birth to All Party Hindu Coordination Committee (APHCC) and warned it not to divide Hindus on the basis of region and caste. He challenged SDSS working president to come for an open discussion over the upkeep maintenance, reopening and other temples issues and the Kashmiri Hindus claim over them at any media channel where APMCC will divulge the exact position as of whose claim was genuine. |
