| Kootah, Kathua match ends in nail biting finish | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, Mar 19: Volleyball tournament inaugurated by SSP Kathua J. L. Sharma under Civic Action Programme 2012 concluded at Mini Sports Stadium Hiranagar in a nail biting finish. Kootha defeated Kathua 3-2.
The match was closely contested with both team displaying high level of skills.
CO CRPF 121 Bn. V. S. Joon was chief guest on the occasion along with guest of honour J. S. Sharma, Addl. SP Zahid Naseem Manhas, SDPO Border, DY SP DAR Coy Commander BSF and other official of sports/civil department, citizens of local area youth who were also present.
Trophies, medals and track suits and participation certificates were distributed to winner and runner-up teams. It was followed by high tea. |
