| Mixed reaction for creation of Shri Chandi Mata Shrine Board | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 19: Mixed reactions have started pouring in from different corner of devotees after President of Sarv Shakti Sewak Sanstha (SSSS), Machail Yatra Management on behalf of its Patron-in-Chief Thakur Kulbir Singh met Governor N.N Vohra and submitted a representation demanding creation of Shri Chandi Mata Machail Shrine Board in the interest of general public and devotees and Yatris in particular.
Vohra however has assured the president that he will consider the matter and take it up with the government.
While some section of devotees hailed the decision taken by the president SSSS, some others termed the decision taken in haste. Favouring Shrine Board adoption devotes counted various achievements, they said that in this way the increasing yatra could be coped up with better facilities while those opposing the creation of board said that yatra which goes under one umbrella will be affected adversely.
Pertinent to mention here that lakahs of people went to the Padar Machail to have a Darshan every year and the decision of the adoption is yet to be taken by the government. |
